Former Canyon baseball player killed while confronting vandals

A horrible and tragic story out of Stevenson Ranch: former Canyon baseball player Joshua Pipho, 20, was killed while confronting a group of people who were vandalizing a truck early Saturday morning. His friend, Chad White, was also stabbed multiple times, according to the Daily News, and remains in critical condition at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.

About 200 friends and family held a candlelight vigil for Pipho on Sunday.
