Football: Receiver Jake Maulhardt sets state record with 28 catches

You can’t miss Camarillo’s Jake Maulhardt on a football field. He’s 6 feet 7 with excellent hands.

And on Friday night, Maulhardt set a state record by catching 28 passes in a 52-28 loss to Canyon Country Canyon. He caught three touchdowns and generated 347 yards in reception yardage.
