Former USC running back Terry Barnum has been named Head of Athletics at Studio City Harvard-Westlake. Barnum has been handling media relations for the Harvard-Westlake athletic department.
His promotion is part of a series of moves related to the pending retirement of President Thomas Hudnut.
Audrius Barzdukas, the former head of athletics, is taking over as head of the upper school.
Richard Commons from the Groton School in Massachusetts has been named Hudnut’s replacement. Commons used to be a teacher and soccer coach at Harvard-Westlake in the 1990s.
