Mitsubishi to Plant Eucalyptus in Chile

TOKYO — Mitsubishi Paper Mills Ltd. said today it will launch a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corp. to plant eucalyptus trees in Chile to secure stable supplies of chip board for paper production in Japan.
The company said the $33-million project will be a trial venture aimed at securing stable supplies for paper production.
