Industrial Clinics: TriCare Inc., a Santa Ana firm that provides administrative services to physician groups in occupational medicine, said Monday that it has acquired Occu-Care Inc., a chain of four industrial medical clinics, for $5.75 million in cash and the assumption of certain liabilities.
Larry Wasserman, TriCare’s chief financial officer, said Occu-Care, based in Pomona, operates industrial clinics in Pomona, Riverside, Ontario and the City of Industry and had net revenues of $7.6 million during 1989.
TriCare, a 5-year-old firm, generated an estimated $20 million in revenue during its fiscal year that ended May 31, Wasserman said.
