Offer Expected Soon for Imagine Films: Imagine’s directors have requested that Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, who control more than half of the stock in the film production company, make an offer of no less than $9 a share, or about $22.5 million, by next Monday for the rest of the company, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The document adds that Grazer and Howard have been approached by an unnamed third party--believed to be entertainment lawyer Peter Dekom--interested in acquiring the company. The documents say that the third party, however, is requesting concessions from Grazer and Howard on proceeds they would receive on the sale of their shares.
