Jordan Comes Through in Overtime for Bulls

Michael Jordan scored eight of his 32 points in overtime Thursday night, lifting the Chicago Bulls to a 112-109 victory over the Detroit Pistons at Auburn Hills, Mich.
The Bulls and Pistons were tied, 101-101, at the end of regulation on a basket by Dennis Rodman with 0.9 seconds left.

Hakeem Olajuwon led six Houston players in double figures and Robert Horry hit a clutch shot with 42 seconds left as the Rockets defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 112-108, at Houston. . . . Vin Baker scored 25 points and Glenn Robinson scored 11 of his 23 in the third quarter, lifting the Milwaukee Bucks to a 109-98 victory over the Washington Bullets at Milwaukee. . . .
Bimbo Coles scored five of his 24 points in the final 17 seconds, helping the Miami Heat beat the Denver Nuggets, 97-91, at Miami. . . . Terrell Brandon scored 20 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers held the Toronto Raptors to 14 first-quarter points at Hamilton, Canada, en route to their sixth consecutive victory, 95-76. . . .
