Five Sonora High School students were awarded the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma, an honor given to students with outstanding academic achievement. Recognized were Kevin Kaplowitz, Megan Moffitt, Christopher Streeter, Jennifer Wu and Mey Yip. To be eligible, students must complete requirements for their regular high school diploma and must attain high honors, honors or recognition in six Golden State exams.
