Members of the Committee of Love--or Comite de Amor--are scheduled to protest in front of the Los Angeles Archdiocese in hopes of catching Cardinal Roger Mahony’s attention Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at 3424 Wilshire Blvd. St. Isidore Church, which was closed in September by the Diocese of Orange, has been a source of contention between the diocese and members of the committee, who want to reopen the church for services.
