State High Court Justice Admits to Driving Drunk

An Ohio Supreme Court justice pleaded guilty in Bowling Green to drunken driving, with her lawyer saying she was an alcoholic who suffered a relapse.
The judge suspended Justice Alice Robie Resnick’s license for six months and ordered her to complete a three-day alcohol rehabilitation program.
“Justice Resnick, for the better part of her adult life, has been fighting alcoholism,” her lawyer Sheldon Wittenberg said after the hearing. Wittenberg said Resnick, a first-time offender, was not considering resigning.
