State Ends Quarantine on Oriental Fruit Fly

State agricultural officials Wednesday ended a quarantine on the Oriental fruit fly in a 116-square-mile area centered in Santa Ana that went into effect in July.
Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary A.G. Kawamura said the insects had been eradicated.
