Maher lambastes with best of them

THE secondary headline on Paul Brownfield’s article about Bill Maher [“Maher Strives to Level the Field,” Sept. 16] states that “the humorist and pundit lampoons the administration but also defuses any lynching parties.”
I don’t know what show Brownfield was watching, but any time I tune in, Maher has two flaming liberals lambasting a single Republican guest and tossing out vicious remarks about the administration. I think Maher is leading the lynch mob, and he is the one carrying the rope.
