Galaxy Is Tied in Exhibition

The Galaxy and English team Crystal Palace F.C. played to a 1-1 tie in an exhibition that was postponed at halftime because of heavy thunder and lightning at Richmond, Va.
Crystal Palace took a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute on a goal by Jon Macken.
The Galaxy tied the score in the 28th minute.
With Crystal Palace attempting to move out of its end, John Wolyniec knocked the ball away from Michael Hughes and pushed it forward to an on-rushing Paulo Nagamura, who buried a low shot past keeper Julian Speroni.
