Arthur Kornberg: The obituary of DNA pioneer Arthur Kornberg in the California section Oct. 28 incorrectly said that the amounts of the bases cytosine and adenine in DNA were equal, as were the amounts of guanine and thymine. Adenine equals thymine, and guanine equals cytosine.
