Britain’s Independent Police Complaints Commission ruled that no officers will be disciplined in the fatal shooting of an innocent Brazilian man mistaken for a terrorist suspect.
The victim’s cousin denounced the ruling.
The commission said no action would be taken against four senior officers involved in the operation that led to the death of Jean Charles de Menezes, 27.
De Menezes was shot on July 22, 2005, aboard a subway train in south London.
